A Christmas cloth that doesn't shout. A white ground with a wide red satin border, and embroidered red ribbon trailing across the centre in loose swags, tied in a bow at the middle. Holly leaves and red berries are worked along the ribbon in grey-green thread.

The restraint is the point: it reads as Christmas from the doorway, but still looks like a proper table linen rather than a novelty.
