A woven damask cloth in a tone-on-tone medallion and scroll — the pattern is in the weave, catching the light against the matte, so it shows as a self-coloured design rather than a print. A full bullion tassel fringe runs around the edge.

The fringe gives it a formal, old-world weight. It dresses a holiday or occasion table on its own.
