A dressy cloth built around its border. The ground is a woven damask in tone-on-tone, carrying a fine scrolling floral that only shows when the light catches it. Around the edge runs a deep macramé lace band with a large lace medallion at each corner that hangs well past the table.

The damask is woven, not printed, so the pattern sits in the cloth and stays after washing. The lace border does the decorating; the field stays quiet.

Made in rectangles from 52×70 up to 70×180, for dining and banquet tables.
